In this workshop, I will introduce machine learning and some creative applications of the technology. Machine learning has the capacity to process and make sense of human gestures, communication, audio, image, video and other real-time data. Together we will experiment with machine learning through a model that classifies or recognizes the content of images, as well as an algorithm that uses computer vision to estimate key points on the human body from photos or videos. We will look at the effects of some of these algorithms to consider potential bias and ethical significance of its outcome
